Actor Rob Lowe was spotted at the Sony Open catching one of David Ferrer’s practices as the tennis pro prepared for his first run at the Sony Open title.

As part of USTA’s commitment to First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! Initiative, Miami native and local favorite Mary Joe Fernandez celebrated the nationwide 10,000^th youth-sized tennis court.

Gold Medalist Ryan Lochte enjoyed a Miami getaway with friends. Lochte was spotted at the Shore Club for the hotel’s Shore Thing Sundays bash for St. Patrick’s Day. Lochte was also spotted filming his new reality TV show with the E! Network What Would Ryan Lochte Do? at Monty’s Sunset on Miami Beach. He was there enjoying dinner and taping a few scenes for his show.

Snoop Dogg (Lion) and Ne-Yo presented the Prestige Sunday” party at BAMBOO. Flo Rida and Pleasure P arrived also joined in the WMC festivities. According to Prestige Sunday VIP Host, Sia – Ne-Yo and Snoop were overheard talking to Flo Rida about a possible collaboration.  Before long, Snoop took over the mic to the delight of 1500 clubgoers.

Nabilla Benattia, hosted a bowl-a-thon at Diamond Strikes Lanes in Pompano Beach, that raised money for a charity in France.

On Friday evening, The Forge hosted the Food Network’s party of 90 of its top executives and celebrity chefs, including Alex Guarnaschelli, Debi Mazar, Jeff Mauro and Gabriele Corcos. Our spies spotted the Lethal Weapon star at the W South Beach Hotel’s club WALL, hanging with NFL star Reggie Bush and celebrity chef Curtis Stone. Earlier Thursday night, Stone hosted the South Beach Wine and Food Festival’s Q After Dark, and, like Gibson, the Aussie seemed to be a hit with the women of Miami. On Saturday, February 16, the gathering of the eight best polo players in the world signaled the return of the Outback 40-Goal Game Challenge at the International Polo Club Palm Beach. Grey Goose sponsored the match that benefits the Polo Players Support Group, which provides aid to seriously injured polo players and grooms. Players, including Adolfo Cambiaso, Pablo MacDonough, Guillermo “Sapo” Caset, Juan Martin Nero, Facundo Pieres, Gonzalito Pieres, David “Pelon” Stirling, and Miguel Novillo Astrada, competed for the Grey Goose Longshot Award which was earned by Pieres for his 90-yard forehand early in the fourth chukker. Ferllen Winery, the premiere wine brand from Mendoza, Argentina, joined forces with the Amigos Near Foundation to launch the Ferllen Winery Special Edition Art Series 2013 during a fundraiser gala on Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Paramount Bay. Over three hundred guests, including notables such as restaurateur and wine maker Alejandro Ferllen of Novecento and Segafredo, popular Mexican-American TV personality Poncho de Anda, telenovela heart throb Victor Gonzalez, father/daughter musicians Willy and Nicole Chirino, male model Brad Alphonso and filled the residential tower designed by Kravitz’ Design Inc. and Arquitectonica in Downtown Miami to raise more than $30,000 to support the school infrastructureat Marie’s Village Orphanage in Haiti.

Actors, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jeremy Piven and Carla Gugino were in town on Friday, February 8, for Miami International Film Festival’s (MIFF), presentation of  the screening and cast reunion of Miami Rhapsody a film which debuted during the festival in 1995, directed by David Frankel, who was also in attendance. The director and the actors mingled with partygoers and graciously posed for photos with fans at the Coral Gables Country Club.

On Thursday night, Lamar Odom of the Los Angeles Clippers (husband of Khloe Kardashian) casually dined at STK Miami with friends. The crew sat upstairs and ordered the restaurant’s signature dishes. After dinner Odom called it a night, opting to rest up for Friday night’s game against the Miami Heat.  Heat coach, Eric Spoelstra dined at STK the following night.

Also on Thursday night, Shareef Malnik and his girlfriend, Burn Notice actress, Gabrielle Anwar hosted a cocktail party at the Forge to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Levinson Jewelers auctioned off two limited edition watches designed specifically for the occasion. RHOM cast member, Marysol Patton was also in attendance.

British shoe designer extraordinaire, Nicholas Kirkwood previewed and signed his spring 2013 collection at Saks Bal Harbour on Wednesday, to the delight of over 100 shoe fanatics. The 32 year old is famous for the architectural quality of his designs and his innovative use of materials including devoré satin, hand-printed suede and leather, python, shaved stingray, laser-cut mirror leather, cobra and rubberized leather.

Longtime friends, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire plus fifty friends attended Favela Beach at WALL, on Tuesday night. The A-listers shut the club down at 5 a.m., surrounded by bottles and models.

Alejandro Sanz, Grammy Award winning artist, performed at the Market America Annual World Conference held at the American Airlines Arena. Over 20,000 delighted attendees enjoyed the concert, among those:   actress and reality star La La Anthony, and Market America founders Loren and JR Ridinger.

Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry were seen dining at Martinez’s restaurant Villa Azur during the weekend.  Action-movie director, Michael Bay was also spotted at Villa Azur’s Thursday Night Dinner Party hosted by Michael Martin. Gerard Butler, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, and Mel Gibson along with friends were also seen dining in a private room at Villa Azur. The following day DiCaprio and Hill headed to Wynwood Walls and toured the amazing murals and art displays in the area.  Favorites included Shepard Fairey and Kenny Scharf.

The Temple House hosted a reception announcing the upcoming Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame event in April 2013. Honorary guests at the reception included: well-known songwriters and producers Desmond Child and Rudy Perez as well as Miami Beach’s  Vice Mayor, Michael Gongora.

Over 225 people laced up their bowling shoes at Lucky Strike Lanes in Miami Beach on Saturday, January 26 for Jon Jay’s 2^nd Annual Celebrity Bowling Challenge, which raised approximately $35,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade. On Saturday night, JLO was seen at Catch in the shiny new, James Royal Palm.

Music Producer Scott Storch and Fat Joe partied at BAMBOO Miami Beach this past Sunday night. Also in attendance, was Russian star Timati, who performed.  

On Monday, rap superstar, Fabolous stopped by STK Miami with seven friends for a few drinks at the bar before a night out.
