On Thursday, November 8, join Miami Beach Mayor Matti Bower and Vice Mayor Michael Gongora for a Miami Beach Cares charity event benefitting victims of Hurricane Sandy at W South Beach. All profits will be donated to the American Red Cross. Migguel Anggelo at the New World Center

Annual Burgerliscious Festival In Coral Gables
Join the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce for the Second Annual Burgerliscious Festival on Thursday, November 8, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Fred B. Hartnett Ponce Circle Park. Overtown Music Project
Few people seem to remember Overtown as “the Harlem of the South” when dozens of nightclubs dotted the streets and hosted marquee acts like Count Basie, Dizzy Gillespie and Cab Calloway. On Friday, November 9, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., that musical magic will return to Overtown during an event that will recreate the legendary jazz supper clubs of a bygone era with: “Jazz (and a little bit of Blues) at Jackson Soul Food,” a historic evening event featuring legendary musicians Joey Gilmore, Bobby Stringer, Mel Dancy, Lee Johnson and Jowee Omicil. Fairchild’s Ramble Festival

Miami Seaquarium on Veteran’s Day
In recognition of their service to our country, all veterans, active duty military, police, fire and EMT personnel will receive free admission to Miami Seaquarium on Veteran’s Day, November 11 and 12.
