On Thursday, November 8, join Miami Beach Mayor Matti Bower and Vice Mayor Michael Gongora for a  Miami Beach Cares charity event benefitting victims of Hurricane Sandy at W South Beach. All profits will be donated to the American Red Cross. Join in and support this great cause at 2201 Collins Avenue at 10:00 p.m. to help the American Red Cross with their mission to help the people impacted by this storm. Migguel Anggelo at the New World Center

He will join forces with a full string ensemble at the New World Center in the Sun Trust Pavilion. Migguel’s audience will experience an emotional journey through his animated performance and imaginative personality. As a singer, actor and dancer, Migguel combines pop and poetic songwriting in order to create a unique musical experience.  Annual Burgerliscious Festival In Coral Gables

Join the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce for the Second Annual Burgerliscious Festival on Thursday, November 8, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Fred B. Hartnett Ponce Circle Park. Sink your teeth into gourmet burgers made by more than twenty of Coral Gables’ premier restaurants.The festival also kicks-off Miami Live Music Month (www.livemiamimusic.com),a premier program of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. Energetic entertainment presented by The Stage will feature DJ Mayner and Mad World Orchestra. Ticket packages are broken down into general admission and VIP tiers. Dezer Collection’s James Bond Experience

Catch Bond Fever at the Dezer Collection’s James Bond Experience, on the opening night of the film, November 9, at 7:00 p.m., welcoming die-hard fans to a reception filled with an endless flow of “Shaken Not Stirred” martinis served with a KGB smile. Delectable, globetrotting canapés will be served by Celebrity Chef Adrianne Calvo. Overtown Music Project

Few people seem to remember Overtown as “the Harlem of the South” when dozens of nightclubs dotted the streets and hosted marquee acts like Count Basie, Dizzy Gillespie and Cab Calloway. On Friday, November 9, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., that musical magic will return to Overtown during an event that will recreate the legendary jazz supper clubs of a bygone era with: “Jazz (and a little bit of Blues) at Jackson Soul Food,” a historic evening event featuring legendary musicians Joey Gilmore, Bobby Stringer, Mel Dancy, Lee Johnson and Jowee Omicil. Fairchild’s Ramble Festival

Miami Seaquarium on Veteran’s Day

In recognition of their service to our country, all veterans, active duty military, police, fire and EMT personnel will receive free admission to Miami Seaquarium on Veteran’s Day, November 11 and 12. City, county and federal employees also are invited to celebrate the commemorative date and will receive a special admission price of $11 plus tax.
