Fans of the acclaimed and provocative British artist Banksy can now experience his iconic works up close as The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” exhibition opened in Miami at Ice Palace Studios on January 14, 2022, as part of its North American debut.

The exhibition – custom-built to fit the venue – includes several experiential areas and more than 155 of the artist’s works such as certified originals, prints, photos, lithographs, sculptures, murals, and video mapping installations created only for this tour.

Tickets start at $27.20 and are available through Feverup.com/Miami and ArtOfBanksy.com. The exhibition is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays and Wednesdays through Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Building upon the incredible success of The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” in Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia, the exhibition celebrated its U.S. premiere in Atlanta in September 2021. Due to popular demand, the show in Atlanta was extended. Miami is the second city on the national tour where the exhibition will be showcased for a limited time, followed by Charlotte, North Carolina, and other cities to be announced later this year. To date over 1.2 million people have visited the exhibition around the world.

Regarded as one of the most valuable and talked about artists of our time, Banksy’s popularity cannot be denied. The exhibition The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” is presented by eventS and SEE Global Entertainment. More than 20 of Banksy’s works are carefully reproduced with his stencil technique especially for the exhibition, including his March 2021 creation “Escape” originally appearing on England’s closed Reading Prison, and “Pulp Fiction” featuring likenesses of the film’s stars Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta pointing bananas in place of pistols. The exhibit also features an astounding reproduction of a subway station from the London Underground, which immerses visitors in the world of Banksy’s street art. In addition, visitors can view a mural installation by a renowned creative team, which authentically brings the spirit of street art to an indoor exhibit.

A video documentary gives visitors insights into Banksy’s life and work, all presented in a unique setting. The show promises – and delivers – a genuinely impressive experience and is a “must see” to celebrate or learn about his art. Other highlights include “Dismaland” installations from Banksy’s 2015 pop-up Bemusement Park, prints of “Flower Thrower” and “Kissing Coppers,” and the sculpture “Death of a Phone Booth.” Other surprises include a section dedicated to Banksy’s activism related to immigrants and an “infinity room” addressing politics. Visitors are also invited to join the spirit of Banksy’s activism by spray painting their own T-shirt with a $2 donation to the M.V. Louise Michel organization.

“Visitors will find conversation starters around every corner of this exhibition as Banksy is an exciting and compelling artist we delight in sharing with the public for the first time in Miami,” said Martin Biallas, CEO of SEE Global Entertainment. “Some consider Banksy a prankster and others regard him an artistic genius – no matter one’s perspective, worldwide it’s clear that everyone agrees Banksy’s popularity and influence cannot be denied.”

“Banksy has a unique power to express strong political statements with poetry, energy and humor and an unnerving ability to get to the heart of the subject matter,” added Biallas. “Any location that features Banksy’s work becomes the place to see, and in the U.S. that place is Miami.”

The founder of the exhibition, Kemal Gurkaynak, who is based outside the U.S. and considers himself a Banksy advocate, also affirms the incredible ability Banksy has to inspire conversation.

“The Art of Banksy: ’Without Limits’ is not an exhibition but a show with a philosophy as Banksy loves to provoke, shock and even disturb society,” said Gurkaynak. “He does it with humor and poetry indeed. Banksy has the unique ability to express through his works some truths that most people don’t have the courage to say out loud. And, nowadays, we need to be sincere, empathetic and caring to one another more than ever. This is what Banksy’s art does: it has the power to unite people, ideas, values that can change the world for the better. Through The Art of Banksy: ‘Without Limits’ our mission is to present the truth about Bansky’s art and to carry his powerful message into the world.”

The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” successfully exhibited in multiple international cities including Istanbul, Amsterdam, Melbourne, Antwerp, Berlin, Bucharest, Cluj, Budapest, Riyadh, Vienna, Warsaw, Seoul and Atlanta. The exhibition is famed for its unique installation in each location, ensuring a new and innovative experience for every visitor.
