The region’s rock-star growers and top-tier chefs will combine their talents for “PHeaSt,” the extraordinary garden-to-table celebration, on Friday, October 17, 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Navy Yard in South Philadelphia. The third annual PHeaSt, hosted by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, brings together the region’s renowned chefs and urban growers for a unique party to benefit the PHS City Harvest program. The event has been a sell-out each year, as hundreds of Philly-area foodies come to sample amazing, new seasonal dishes by the culinary and gardening teams. PHeaSt transforms the PHS Warehouse at the Navy Yard, home to recycled props from the Philadelphia Flower Show, into an industrial-chic party setting. Guests are invited to roam from table to table to enjoy the garden-fresh dishes, chat with the chefs, and get gardening tips from the growers. New this year, the “Fruits of the Vine” wine pull will include more than 100 bottles of wine donated by individuals and Fine Wine & Good Spirits. The bottles are valued between $20 and $300 each. For $20, guests may try their luck and select one bottle in a wine bag. Tickets are on sale now. General admission tickets are $150 (PHS members $135). FloridaMiami Heat’s newest player Danny Granger seems to have taken a liking to Khong River House on Miami Beach, dining there two nights in a row last week and then returning the following night for takeout.

Fat Joe kicked off the Hip-Hop Legend Seriesat Hyde Beach at SLS South Beach this past Saturday with a surprise performance for hotel guests and attendees. He performed his hit singles “What’s Luv” and “Make It Rain.”Other notable guests in attendance included Scottie and Larsa Pippen. Fat Joe was seen sipping Moet Nectar and mingling with the crowd.

On Sunday night, Jeffery Soffer, owner of the Fontainebleau was spotted with his beautiful wife, Elle Macpherson at Zuma. They arrived by boat, and enjoyed an early dinner with friends and family. Also spotted last week at Zuma’s sushi counter, culinary legends Chef Ferran Adria and Jose Andres enjoying a quick lunch.

Rapper FloRida celebrated his birthday at Cameo’s Lapdance Tuesday party, popping multiple bottles of champagne with a large group of friends. Taking a VIP table on the dancefloor, FloRida had a prime view of Cameo’s risqué pole dancers and appeared to love the view, and kept the party going until the lights came up at 5am. Also on hand was baller James Harden of The Houston Rockets and legions of female fans who crowded FloRida’s VIP table throughout the night.

Enrique Iglesias stopped by Splitsville Miami (www.splitsvillelanes.com) last week in the Shops at Sunset Place to meet and greet fans while also knocking down a few pins. The #BowlingwithEnrique event was put on by Power 96 and driven by Car2Go – lucky winners were chosen by visiting Splitsville and registering, on-air by Power 96 and by catching DJ Will Calder (@djwillcalder) in a Car2Go around Miami. Amazing Splitsville food, including filet sliders and fresh-made sushi, was paired with Monte Carlo vodka tastings, desserts from Postre Miami and plenty of Enrique Iglesias music to keep all of the lucky winners bowling strikes throughout the night!

American designer Tommy Hilfiger dined at Seasalt and Pepper Restaurant on the Miami River with his wife and another couple.

Actress Sofia Vergara and her new boyfriend, Joe Manganiello also recently dined at Seasalt and Pepper. Vergara reportedly picked up the check and left a generous tip. The couple was seen at Cecconi’s the night before.

SNL’s, Keenan Thompson was spotted in Miami with his wife and newborn child. They checked into the Palms Hotel and Spa. Keenan and his wife had a lovely dinner at Essensia and chatted with Chef Julia Frans. The couple also dined at Cecconi’s.

Eva Longoria recently had dinner at Katsuya with a gentleman.

Cassie Ventura, recording artist and girlfriend of Diddy, was spotted at SLS South Beach for a Ciroc photo shoot. Diddy Combs stopped by the shoot twice, posing with guests for photos.

RED the Steakhouse was the exclusive food partner for Mike Tyson’s championship boxing event held at American Airlines Arena last Thursday. On Wednesday night, RED hosted Mike Tyson and fifty of his guests for a pre-fight dinner party.

Recently spotted at Zuma: David Beckham having dinner with friends, including Liv Tyler and Enrique Iglesias, with long term girlfriend, Anna Kuornikova. Jamie Foxx also dined late night at Zuma on Tuesday with a large group of friends dressed casually, in a yellow polo and jeans.
