On Friday, October 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the heart of the Miami Design District, the best names in art, design, fashion and lifestyle will unite in a one of a kind event. Raiza Perrault will be on hand to discuss climate change as well the Maestro Marturet that will demonstrate how to conduct in his master class. Athina Marturet, event ambassador, will introduce the panel of amazing personalities of art, fashion, architecture and lifestyle. This Expo will be crowned with the first MISO Pop Up Series Concert by Eduardo Marturet and Miami Symphony at spectacular Palm Court; the free outdoor concert is guaranteed to be absolutely beautiful starts at 6.00 pm. The concert will also feature leading artist of Emilio & Gloria Estefan’s Broadway Show “On Your Feet”, Ana Villafañe. The Diamond Ball, Miami Children’s Health Foundation
On Saturday, October 21st Miami Children’s Health Foundation (MCH Foundation) will hold its annual Diamond Ball, with over 600 of South Florida’s most philanthropic community members. This inspiring and uplifting event benefits the children and families of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. This year, MCH Foundation will induct two honorees into the Ambassador David M. Walters International Pediatric Hall of Fame: world-renowned photographer, Anne Geddes, and highly successful racecar driver, Hélio Castroneves. Guests and celebrities will experience a black-tie affair, with a stylish cocktail soiree featuring entertainment, and a silent auction and a special drawing of a 2018 Audi A5, 2018 Audi A5 Coupe, generously donated by Audi of America & Audi Stuart. The hospital is home to the largest pediatric teaching program in southwestern United States and has been designated an American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet facility, the nursing profession’s most prestigious institutional honor. This Sunday, October 22, at 11 a.m. the mall will host PINK WALK, a 2-mile, indoor walk to support The Women’s Breast & Heart Health Initiative, an outreach organization dedicated to educating women about the importance of breast and heart health while providing them with the resources to beat these diseases. The Awareness Walk is part of Aventura Mall’s One Life Walking Program, a wellness initiative that offers a variety of fitness sessions aimed at reducing stress and enhancing the overall well-being for families in the community.
The suggested donation to participate in the walk is $20, and Aventura Mall will match donations up to $1,500. The first 50 people who donate will receive a Fitness Journal Magazine and a pink “I Can” t-shirt. Complimentary pink cupcakes from Cupcake World and refreshments will be provided after the walk by Farmer’s Market vendors. The walk will start at Fountain Court next to Apple.
