Marysol Patton, Slade Smiley, and Gretchen Rossi

Last Thursday, Marysol Patton from Bravo’s yet-to-be-named, Miami-based reality show and Real Housewife of OC star, Gretchen Rossi with boyfriend serial housewife dater, Slade Smiley, were seen having dinner at Zuma. On Saturday, Grammy award winning Producer Emilio Estefan, Grammy award winner Natalia Jimenez from the group La Quinta Estacion and Lili Estefan also dined at Zuma.  Also at the restaurant that night: Dancing With The Stars winner Helio Castroneves and artist Romero Britto.

Argentinean model and Telemundo and E! Latinoamérica star Candela Ferro and longtime beau Mexican actor Khotan Fernández were spotted at newly opened La Fee Verte, a tease, burlesque and absinthe club in North Beach. The couple and friends were seen enjoying the club’s burlesque shows while sipping on cocktails. Ferro and Khotan remained mostly below the radar throughout the entire evening and did not leave the VIP area

Friday night, Miami-based pop music artist Corey Michaels celebrated the launch of his debut album, Who Killed the King? with an exclusive performance at SCORE. Corey performed his songs “Don’t Go” and “Rockstar” – one of which is rumored to be his fist single out next month – to a packed house of club kids. Michaels greeted his fans and made his way onto the dance floor to join the revelers until well into Saturday morning.

Paulina Rubio

Latin hotspot, Morena, (formerly Macarena) was THE place to be late Saturday night, for the Paulina Rubio concert after party.  The place was so packed, there was barely enough room for Rubio and her friends, who were among the last to arrive.  The group danced all night in the VIP area.  Latin Grammy-winning Spanish-Italian musician/ actor Miguel Bose joined in the celebration as well.

Sean Penn booked a reservation at STK Miami for his daughter and a group of friends on Saturday night. Penn made a cameo toward the end of the meal to say hello to the table of teenage girls and pay their bill. 

Last week, comedian/actor Tony Roberts performed at Play Nightclub in South Beach. The comic has appeared on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam and BET’s Comic View.  Miami Heat star, Udonis Haslem, was at Play to enjoy the show.

Christina Aguilera and Kim Kardashian celebrated the bachelorette party of celeb stylist, Simone Harouche at LIV on Friday night.

NBA Champs, Dwyane Wade and Alonzo Mourning hosted a meet and greet and autograph signing at Publix on Saturday for the “Be A Pro With Zo & D. Wade Sweepstakes Presented by Publix. Consumers had the opportunity to win and be a part of Seminole Hard Rock Presents The Summer Groove with Zo and D. Wade (July 14-18, ) weekend of fun with an “Enter To Win” sweepstakes. Fans lined up as early as 5 a.m. Once inside, they were treated to music, raffles, giveaways, and product sampling from participating partners. Several fans took advantage of the opportunity to try to convince Wade, whose contract expires this year with the Miami Heat, to stay in Miami.

On Sunday night, Passion Pit performed in Miami Beach and hosted their after party at Coco de Ville.  The members of the band took turns hitting the DJ booth while fan Jesse Metcalf enjoyed vodka cocktails with them at their VIP table.

Michael Jordan was at JB Kitchen & Bar on Sunday night watching the NBA finals. Michael told restaurant staff that he loved the place and said he’s coming back later this week to watch the World Cup.

Congratulations Nayib and Lara!

Extreme VIP guests just over the bridge on Star Island, enjoyed the wedding of Lara Coppola and Nayib Estefan, the son of Emilio and Gloria Estefan with an epic bash at the Estefans’ estate, boasting musical entertainment by the Misshapes and a bevy of celebrity guests, including Andy Garcia,  Lily Estefan, Danny Santiago, Belkys Nerey, Sammy Sosa, and Thalia, and A-listers including:  Jorge and Darlene Perez, Nick D’Annunzio, Tara Solomon, Jose Ortiz, Frank Amadeo, Mario Vergel and Sebastian Puga, to name a few.  While we can’t reveal all the details, we can say that Lara looked stunning in her Oscar de la Renta gown, the Estefan “ring-dogs” were escorted down the aisle by the Dog Whisperer, and that a full-piece Latin band had the crowd of 400 dancing all night.  To view some highlights of the magical evening click on the link nayib and lara’s wedding, courtesy of Jipsy Nefarious.

Later that night, a group of 25 gathered at Coco de Ville to celebrate Burn Notice star, Navi Rawat’s birthday.  Cast mate, Jeffrey Donovan joined in the festivities, along with Brawley Nolte (Nick Nolte’s son) Nick D’Annunzio, Tara Solomon and Jose Ortiz.

 Celebrity Sightings:

In addition to those mentioned above, J Cole and Kat Deluna performed and hung out with the Thrillist gang all weekend.  Two famous soccer players dined at Mr. Chow this past weekend:  Zlatan Ibrahimovic from the Swedish team and Allesandro Nesta from the Italian team.  Both will be playing in the World Cup this year in South Africa.

JR Ridinger, Tony Parker, Loren Ridinger, and Eva Longoria

Last weekend, Tony Parker celebrated his birthday at STK at the Gansevoort alongside his wife, Eva Longoria, Scottie and Larsa Pippen and their best friends, Market America Moguls, JR and Loren Ridinger.  The group had a blast at the dinner party, which also served as an “unofficial temporary farewell” to the Ridingers, who will be yachting and summering in New York.  Auf Wiedersehen, Ridingers!

Carlos “El Pibe” Valderrama

 Wednesday, legendary Colombian soccer player Carlos “El Pibe” Valderrama made a guest appearance at Grove Liquors signing autographs and socializing with fans.  Valderrama has partnered with Hennessy in honor of the upcoming World Cup. 

The holiday weekend had its fair share of buzz-worthy celebs. Plunge, at the Gansevoort Rooftop, was ground zero for Chris Brown, TI, Busta Rhymes, Terri Kirby, D’Shaun Jackson, Troy Grant, and Thomas Jones. 

Nikki Reed

 Cedric Gervais performed at LIV to a crowd of overzealous fans.  Nikki Reed, a.k.a. Rosalie Hale of the Twilight Saga was also spotted at LIV last weekend, celebrating her birthday. 

 Lil Jon and Tayo Otiti were seen at Mokai.  Otiti was also spotted at Louis.  

 Eliza Orlins of Survivor fame was taking in some sun poolside at the Mondrian. 

Sharon Gless

 Sharon Gless, the former Cagney and Lacey star who currently plays Jeffrey Donovan’s on-screen mom in the hit show Burn Notice, celebrated her birthday at the Forge Restaurant I Wine Bar along with two friends on Sunday night.

Saturday was quite busy in terms of celeb sightings.  Domenico Vacca was at his Bal Harbour boutique during the afternoon promoting his new denim line.  Terrell Owens, along with other VIPs and guests intermingled with the designer, while shopping for unique items.

 On the same afternoon at the Forge, world renowned chef, Jacques Pepin, Chef Dewey LoSasso, and Forge owner Shareef Malnik attended the Johnson & Wales University Presidents Luncheon.   That evening, Burt Reynolds, Jeffrey Donovan, Gabrielle Anwar, and Bruce Campbell– better known as the cast of Burn Notice, enjoyed dinner at the newly re-opened restaurant.

 Later that night, Fabolous and Pharrell were spotted at Plunge Rooftop at Gansevoort Miami Beach.

 On Monday, Will Smith along with Karate Kid stars, Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith attended a special screening at the Regal South Beach to promote the “new and improved” version of the Karate Kid.
