The Burn Notice season wrap party took place at The Forge on Wednesday night. Attendees included: Jeffrey Donovan, Gabrielle Anwar, Bruce Campbell and Sharon Gless who celebrated in the newly renovated Library while Dennis Rodman strolled in for a late dinner at the Wine Bar. Saturday night Rick Ross and DJ Khaled enjoyed a business dinner with two other guests and spoke about how they loved The Forge’s new look.

On Thursday night, the members of Kings of Leon dined in the private dining room of Miami hotspot, Zuma with a group of 16 people.

 Eva Longoria recently dined at Sugarcane raw bar grill with a group of about 15 who arrived in 3 limos. Longoria and company sat in the lounge and enjoyed a selection of different tapas from the menu. The hot “Housewife” was in town to kick-off the Rally Against Cancer, which is being co-hosted for the second year in a row by JR and Loren Ridinger and will take place during the weekend of November 12-13 (more on this in an upcoming column).

At La Fee Verte’s Stiletto Mafia party on Saturday, model Ines Rivero was seen with an entourage of dancing queens who could not stop raving about burlesque diva Nicole Soden’s performance. Front Management’s male-model-of-the-moment, Branden Haley celebrated his 21st birthday at the party where he was seen dirty dancing with Bravo reality star, Cristina Rice (who’s been recently spotted with Jamie Foxx).

Also on Saturday, Grey Goose Entertainment Rising Icon Jay Sean performed at the Opium Hard Rock.

Recording artist Drake celebrated his father’s birthday with a group of 6 people at Philippe on Sunday.

Café Prima Pasta hosted a slew of celebs this week, Argentine Grammy-nominated Diego Torres and his model girlfriend enjoyed   the fish special with Chef Gerry Cea before heading to New York to perform at Madison Square Garden.  Miami Heat’s Dywane Wade and girlfriend, Gabrielle Union, dined on Chicken Parmigiana (Michael Jordan’s favorite) and the pasta special of the day.   Puerto Rican rap group, Calle 13 enjoyed a variety of Café Prima Pasta’s traditional Italian dishes, and  Lenny Kravitz’s band and personal assistant feasted on a Sicilian dinner of 8 different pasta dishes. 

Gloria Estefan was spotted at Michy’s celebrating a pre-birthday dinner early last week. Joining Estefan were husband Emilio and a few of her closest friends, including famed chef José Andrés, who was in town checking on the developments of his South Beach restaurant at the Ritz Plaza Hotel. The new owner of the Ritz, LA hotelier San Nazarian, recently received a $65 million recapitalization to go forth with plans to transform the place into a trendy hotel under his SLS Hotel brand that will also include a version of LA sushi haute spot, Katsuya.

 Musicians Jon Secada and Nestor Torres had dinner with celeb chef Douglas Rodriguez, among others, at an “underground supper club” dinner held at the chef’s De Rodriguez Cuba restaurant on South Beach Tuesday night.

Rapper Trina and actress Vivica A. Fox hosted a birthday party at Club Play Wednesday night for Trina’s assistant. Also seen at the party: America’s Next Top Model finalist Tocarra.

 Meanwhile, Gloria celebrated her birthday again on Wednesday night, this time at the B Bar at The Betsy, along with pals Rosie O’Donnell and Sharon Gless.

Washington Nationals players Ryan Zimmerman and Adam Dunn dined at Stephen Starr‘s STEAK 954 at the W Fort Lauderdale Tuesday night with three friends.

Former basketball player-turned-professional party person Dennis Rodman stopped by Aventura’s Avenue 29 Wednesday night, posed for a few pictures and hung out with friends at a table out front.

New York Jets’ defensive back, Darrelle Revis was spotted at Plunge Rooftop at Gansevoort Miami Beach.

New Found Glory front man Jordan Pundik dropped by Cafeina on Saturday night after wrapping up his concert performance at Bayfront Park. Currently on a national tour with rock band Paramore, Pundik was spotted inside the lounge-art gallery sipping on café con leche martinis and noshing on Cafeina’s famous crab cakes. The tattoo-laden singer’s entourage included his (nine-month) pregnant wife and several family members and friends. Before heading out, Pundik popped into the kitchen to pose for a picture with chef Guily Booth and to compliment her crab cakes. He then paused to view Cafeina’s current art exhibition by Laurence Gartel before rejoining his band mates on the tour bus.

On Thursday, Grey Goose Entertainment Rising Icon Laura Izibor performed at a private gathering at the Bacardi headquarters in Coral Gables to celebrate the second season of the highly acclaimed BET Grey Goose Rising Icons series.  Fellow  Rising Icon, Melanie Fiona, performed at LIV on Sunday, where she gave a breathtaking concert.  Other guests included DJ Irie, Mike Epps and Louis Oliver.

 On Friday night,  Lebron James threw a surprise birthday dinner party for his girlfriend and mother of his two sons, Savannah Brinson at Red, The Steakhouse restaurant where he brought in a mixlogist to make Atlantico Rum cocktails for his guests which included:  Chris Paul, Udonis Haslem, and  Brian Hartline of the Miami Dolphins, among others. The specialty cocktail served was named the Atlantico Heat.   Apl.de.ap & Will.I.Am hosted the 944 Nightlife Issue release party at LIV.  Travis McCoy also performed at the event.  Guests spotted included: Alice Panikian (Miss Universe Canada 2006), Cedric Gervais, and Sofia Chapman. Chris Bosh and Adrienne Williams made and appearance, celebrating their engagement which took place just hours before.

 Miami’s own Market America founders/owners, J.R. and Loren Ridinger recently presented their annual International Convention in Greensboro, N.C. at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex to a sold out crowd of over 25,000.  The Ridingers once again enlightened attendees by detailing ways the company is using technology to change the way people shop and unveiling a host of new products and services. Celebrity guest appearances included close friends of the Ridingers, Kim Kardashian and Scottie Pippen.

On Thursday night, Kathy Griffin from Bravo’s Life on the D List, dined at Zuma with Gloria and Emilio Estefan.

Actor Idris Elba, (recently known for his role as Michael Scott’s hunky supervisor on The Office), hosted a party at Play Nightclub on Friday night. He will be appearing in the movie The Takers, a 2010 release touted as a crime action and thriller film also starring Matt Dillon.

Porschla Coleman celebrated her engagement to NBA Basketball star Jason Kidd, of the Dallas Mavericks, on Saturday at Louis Bar. The happy couple toasted with champagne alongside Front Management’s Auggie Lasseter .    Fellow NBA Stars, LeBron James and Chris Bosh were spotted dining at Red, The Steakhouse in the front VIP room. 

Eric Milon and Joey Goldman celebrated their birthdays at SET on Friday with a huge bash.  Many local socialites, including Tony Schectman and Larry Schwartz turned up for the party.

Miami publicist turned author Buck Winthrop, who is summering in the Hamptons, mingled with Sex and The City’s Candace Bushnell, Jay McInerney, and Barbara Walters at Author’s Night, a benefit for the East Hampton Library chaired by actor Alec Baldwin last Saturday. Winthrop‘s debut novel Delusions of Grandeur is being launched on Kindle and in 12 countries including France, Germany and Japan on September 9th.

While house hunting on Friday, Chris Bosh spoiled his girlfriend, Adrienne Williams with a day of pampering and beauty at Femme Coiffure Hair Spa in the Ritz-Carlton on South Beach. Onlookers say Adrienne and her sister received the works – over $2800 worth of treatments ranging from changing their hair to a blonde and chestnut brown contrast, deep conditioning and a $500 haircut from owner and master stylist Raphael Reboh.

Scarpetta’s Top Chef, Scott Conant, was spotted dining at The Forge Restaurant | Wine Bar on Friday night.   Chef Dewey LoSasso prepared different dishes for Conant to sample, including a specialty pasta dish that got rave reviews from the Food Network star. 

Also on Friday, Miami-based Grey Goose Vodka sponsored the first World Leadership Awards in Atlanta hosted by Usher and his New Look Foundation.  Grammy Award winner,  Ciara and pop sensation, Justin Bieber entertained guests with exclusive performances as VIP guests, including former President, Bill Clinton, sipped Grey Goose Vodka cocktails and enjoyed a special evening honoring key individuals and organizations for their recognition of youth as leaders

Jeffrey Donovan, our favorite Burn Notice front man, was seen dining solo at Macaluso’s last Tuesday night,   where he enjoyed the eatery’s famous homemade meatballs (yum!).

During the Webster Rooftop Happy Hour, which was very popular,  Pharrell  Williams  shopped throughout the boutique.

Rapper TI was seen dining at Philippe with a group of friends this past Sunday^.

Last week, Miami’s finest headed up to the Hamptons where the Heat’s Chris joined Tracy Wilson Mourning, Donna Karan, a pregnant and just-married Alicia Keys with new husband Swizz Beatz, John Legend, Jason Binn, and host Anthony Anderson to celebrate South Florida’s Allison & Chip Brady who were being honored at  Russell Simmons‘ RushPhilanthropic.org annual “Art for Life” gala.  The event, with auction items by country singer Keith Urban, celebrity chef Todd English, and John Legend, was co-sponsored by LSN Partners, a business development firm in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Target, and Bounty.

 While making his acceptance speech as co-honoree, Swizz Beatz’s handsome young son Prince Nasir stepped up to the podium to announce to the art-loving crowd that his favorite artists were “Swizz Beatz and Basquiat”.

The Bradys continue their charitable endeavors by co-hosting a September 10th shopping event at De Beers to benefit GeneSpotlight.org as part of Bal Harbour Shops’ “Fashion Night Out.”
