Grey Goose Brings Hotel Noir to FDR
On Wednesday night, our favorite basement club, FDR at the Delano was transformed into “Hotel Noir,” for the launch of Grey Goose vodka’s latest flavor, Cherry Noir. To parallel the national television advertising campaign entitled “Hotel Noir,” the club was transformed into a seductive sanctuary draped in deep red hues and dim lights. The best part was the library wall- complete with shelves lined with old hard-cover books-which was really a trap door leading to the clandestine back room. The secret space took us back a decade to Liquid’s “Situation Room” where we spent many a night welcoming the sunrise- dancing to Old School Michael Jackson and Earth Wind and Fire. We enjoyed the same type of music in the back room of FDR- which some partygoers dubbed- the “Harry Potter room.”
Aside from the great music, the party featured a vintage style-photo booth, where revelers got the chance to create short movies while sipping Cherry Noir cocktails like the Sling Noir, La Playa and the Wise Old Sage. Event host Gabrielle Union looked stunning in yellow and enjoyed her fair share of GG cocktails while dancing with friends including DJ Irie, Amaris Jones, Matt Heien, special guest Neon Hitch and new beau Travie McCoy. DJs Kiss and M.O.S. kept the crowd going with their musical beats until the early hours. FOX 7’s Belkys Nerey, Tracy Mourning, John Lin, Jeff Morr, Yaniv Cohen, and Jason Clarke were among the guests seen enjoying the party. The Miami installment of “Hotel Noir” follows similar events in New York, Atlanta and Las Vegas.

Rock of Ages Premiere
Director Adam Shankman and actress Julianne Hough attended the premiere of Rock of Ages at Regal South Beach on Thursday night. You may recall the traffic jams and celebrity sightings last summer, while the movie, which stars Tom Crui
se, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta Jones and Russell Brand was being shot right here, in our own backyard. For the premiere, two theaters were packed with fans and extras from the movie- fully dressed in their best 80s rocker gear. After the movie, the VIPs headed to the after party at the exclusive penthouse in the Raleigh Hotel, where we got to dance to the fabulous movie soundtrack.
R-Life at Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach
Modern Rock band, Ghost of Gloria performed at the posh, recently remodeled, Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach as part of the exclusive RLife live event on Thursday night which drew guests and select VIPs out of their hotel rooms and onto the dance floor of the Pompeii Ballroom. The performance took place simultaneously with 19 other RLife live performances around the world as part of Renaissance Hotels’ “GET OUT & Discover” project, bringing to life Renaissance Hotels’ first-ever global advertising campaign: “Live Life to Discover.” The campaign is designed to provoke guests throughout the 151 Renaissance properties in 34 destinations around the world to leave their guest rooms and enjoy the hidden gems which surround each hotel. To this end, 30,000 hotel guests world-wide, were able to experience unforgettable moments on Thursday night, such as the Ghost of Gloria concert at the Eden Roc-at the same time!
David Siguaw, Director of Sales & Marketing at the Eden Roc Renaissance (whom we’ve nicknamed “Clooney Jr.” for his resemblance to the Hollywood heartthrob) shared the following, “The event allowed our hotel guests and loyal Miami friends and family to “GET OUT & DISCOVER” all that the hotel has to offer. In addition, June 7th marked the one year anniversary of ELLE Spa; the property’s recognition in Conde Nast Traveler’s 16th annual Hot List and 1500º Executive Chef Paula DaSilva’s nomination for ‘Best of the South’ by the James Beard Foundation.” In honor of this special occasion, ELLE Spa is offering a 15% discount on the entire spa menu during the month of June.
