Miami Spice  showcases the very best of Miami cuisine. From August 1 through September 30, restaurants offer three-course meals featuring signature dishes created by world-renowned chefs at reduced prices: Lunch $23 and Dinner $39. Below are a few signature restaurants that we have had the pleasure of previewing.

Azul, the Five-Star restaurant at Mandarin Oriental, Miami announces the appointment of William Crandall as chef de cuisine. Chef Crandall brings his sophisticated, eclectic cuisine of French flavors with Asian influences to the new menu at the 120-seat waterfront restaurant. The delightful Miami Spice Menu includes: Scallop “Poke” trout roe, fingerling potato, sorrel, Kurobuta Pork Belly tenderloin, pumpernickel, braised cabbage, rainbow carrot; Caramelized Banana Cake – Dominican milk chocolate cream, chai tea ice cream. Diners at Azul will also enjoy a refreshed design, which was unveiled in 2014 and includes a new private chef’s table overlooking the restaurant’s open white marble kitchen, accommodating parties up to 12. Reservations are suggested at 305.913.8358 or momia-restaurants@mohg.com. Valet parking; all major credit cards accepted.

Year after year, Fontainebleau Miami Beach is revered as the premiere destination for Miami Spice, the two month-long savory extravaganza celebrating the finest dining Miami has to offer. This year, foodies can relish mouth-watering menus from the hotel’s award-winning restaurants – Hakkasan, Scarpetta, La Côte, and, for the very first time, Michael Mina 74. Miami Spice is the ideal opportunity for those who have not yet experienced Michael Mina’s critically acclaimed concept; currently gracing the cover of MIAMI Magazine’s July/August restaurant issue and dubbed “Best Glamorous Restaurant of 2014” by the Miami New Times.

Through August and September, Michael Mina 74, Hakkasan, Scarpetta and La Côte will offer unrivaled dining experiences – three course dinners featuring delectable dishes priced at $39 per person, excluding tax, tip and beverages. An optional wine pairing is available at Scarpetta for an additional cost.Additionally, Hakkasan will be featuring a Dim Sum lunch for $23 per person.

Menu highlights include Ahi & Hamachi Poppers, Berkshire Pork Belly and Mascarpone Cheesecake (Michael Mina 74); Creamy Polenta, the restaurant’s renowned Spaghetti and Coconut Panna Cotta (Scarpetta); Rock Shrimp Escabeche, Roasted Grouper and Chilled Key Lime Parfait (La Côte); and Crispy Green Mustard Prawn, Braised Beef with Spicy Sesame Sauce, and Mango Custard (Hakkasan). Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak is one of South Florida’s favorite restaurants located in the luxurious Turnberry Isle. Executive Chef Gabriel Fenton has created a palate pleasing menu for Miami Spice with the use of seasonal ingredients. Included are a few of our favorites on the menu: Sweet Corn Maine Lobster Chowder (Appetizer), Certified Angus Eye of Rib Eye served with Farro & English Pea “Risotto”, Grilled Onion Relish (entrée), Pineapple Upside Down Parfait with Vanilla Pound Cake, Butter Croquant, Pineapple Sorbet.
