The Webster signature pink flamingo is etched on the 18K rhodium coated gold nib. The Montblanc emblem crowns the writing instrument in black and white. A special pink ink in The Webster’s official Pantone color has been created to enhance the writing experience. A notebook decorated with The Webster flamingos completes the capsule collection, presented in an elegant black coffret emblazoned with a flamingo.

The Fishing Caddy:

The Fishing Caddy is the one gift topping the list of families this holiday season. The all-in-one fishing system helps make it easier and more enjoyable for the family to get together and spend time fishing.

The caddy is the world’s first all-in-one fishing system, offering a padded seat top or tackle box lid, a built-in cup holder, a live well for the fishcaught, two rod holders, LED lights, and more. The water weight prevents it from tipping over, making it a great piece of gear for sharing with a family that loves the outdoors. This is the type of family gift that will help this generation fall in love with the age-old tradition of fishing.

“I hear from people frequently about how The Fishing Caddy has helped make it easier for their whole family to get involved in fishing and to have a great time together,” explains Joe Pippins, creator and founder of The Fishing Caddy. “That’s what it is about, making family memories. Those who make it a family gift will go into the new year with the goal of creating  more happy memories together.” The Fishing Caddy makes a great gift because it will help ensure fishing trips are less stressful and will be enjoyed more, because it’s been designed for organization and to improve the anglers’ experience.  The Fishing Caddy, which ranges in price from $69.95 to $129, was expertly designed for all types of fishing, and can be used by anglers of all ages. The caddy also comes with a 60-day money back guarantee. The organization system gives people everything they need for a great fishingexperience. The fishingsystem has been designed to help make fishing more enjoyable, and give people more time to fish, rather than track down and organize their tackle and supplies. The Fishing Caddy is available online at Amazon and Etsy, at Ace Hardware, Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, and Scheels locations, and at the company website: https://thefishingcaddy.com.

Set in a beautiful atrium with a backyard waterfront patio on the Collins Canal, Mama Joon features vegetarian-forward, homestyle Mediterranean cuisine with a strong Lebanese influence.

Located in the sprezzatura atrium of the hotel, Mama Joon is a refreshingly inviting, family-style restaurant that draws inspiration from the Lebanese background of Life House Founder and CEO, Rami Zeidan. When creating the menu for Mama Joon, Rami sat with his stepmom, who is like a mother to him, and handpicked some of their favorite family recipes. The new recipes, now with a Miami twist, came to life collaboratively with the local culinary team, Executive Chef Harry Capacetti from Matador Room and Bar and Restaurant Director, Hakien Pagan, from the EDITION Hotel at the helm.

“We take great pride in creating and delivering on elegant, high quality food and drinks, and seek to serve the people, not just the elite. We’re really excited to partner with Rami and the Life House team to make Mama Joon an accessible experience,” said Chef Capacetti.

From the same brand that brought Miami Life House, Little Havana and Cuban-inspired Parcela Cafe, Mama Joon continues to showcase the brand’s refreshingly authentic and creative approach through the development of another locally inspired restaurant and bar.

ABOUT InterContinental® Miami Make-A-Wish® Ball

In its 24-year history, the InterContinental® Miami Make-A-Wish® Ball has raised nearly $26 million, granting the wishes of more than 5,200 children from South Florida. The annual Ball, which is regarded as one of Miami charity season’s leading events, is the highest grossing fundraising event for the Southern Florida Chapter of Make-A-Wish®.

“The Ball has helped us grant thousands of wishes for South Florida families coping with their child’s life-threatening medical condition and, under the direction of Gala Chair Shareef Malnik and Gala Host Robert Hill, continues to deliver an event experience like no other,” said Norm Wedderburn, Make-A-Wish Southern Florida President & CEO.

Tickets for the Nightclub are $175 each, or $150 using the code AP07, at: www.makeawishtickets.org.

On Monday, September 16, Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida and in-kind Ball donor InterContinental® Miami celebrated the 25th Annual InterContinental® Miami Make-A-Wish® Ball VIP Kickoff Party at the InterContinental® Miami in anticipation of this season’s  MASTERPIECE XXV-themed gala on Saturday, November 2, a creative interpretation of Game of Thrones. Host Robert Hill, General Manager of InterContinental® Miami and Gala Host was joined by Shareef Malnik, Chairman of the Board Emeritus of Make-A-Wish Southern Florida and Gala Chair of the InterContinental® Miami Make-A-Wish® Ball, and Norman Wedderburn, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish Southern Florida – the trio affectionately known as the “Three Amigos”– to honor the Ball’s donors and supporters.

Gala Chair Shareef Malnik announced that four-time GRAMMY® Award-winning Steven Tyler with the Loving Mary band will headline The Ball, and that T.I. will perform at the Ball’s after party, the InterContinental® Miami Make-A-Wish® Nightclub presented by E11EVEN MIAMI. Actress and documentary film director Gabrielle Anwar will return as the Celebrity Emcee for the 9th year. Malnik also announced that members of the Chairman’s Challenge Society have once again underwritten expenses associated with the Ball.

The cocktail soiree featured opulent food stations by InterContinental Miami Executive Chef Jhonnatan Contreras, decorated in a medieval theme with moat displays accented by ice statues of wolves, fortresses, copper cooking pots, wooden wheelbarrows, and market stalls. Dishes included the Field & Forest stall’s Farro Exotic Mushroom, Baby Carrot Salad, Caramelized Fennel & Apricot Salad, Roasted Beets with Goast Cheese Foam, Shaved Brussel Sprouts & Leek Spring Roll, and Zucchini Flower Stuffed with Cashew Cheese; the Sushi and Seafood station’s Jumbo Gulf Shrimp, Oysters, Spicy Salmon Roll, California Roll, and Vegetable Roll; and a variety of sweets in the dessert “cave,” whose entrance was guarded by an elaborately carved chocolate dragon.

Guests enjoyed specialty cocktails and wine served by a wait staff in renaissance costumes as they were treated to a special DECO Productions dance performance choreographed by New Century Dance Company. Attendees of the evening soiree included hosts Ball Chairman, Board Chair and Founder of Chairman’s Challenge Society Shareef Malnik; President and CEO of Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida Norman Wedderburn; InterContinental® Miami General Manager and Gala Host Robert Hill; actress and documentary film director Gabrielle Anwar; Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools Alberto Carvalho; Ball creative directors Maxwell  Blandford and Clif Loftin; socialite/philanthropists Stanley and Gala Cohen; Joseph Perez; Dennis Crowley; Eugene Frenkel; Danielle Rubinstein; Jodi Siravo; Brian Exelbert; Dr. Art Diskin; Drew Mandala; Robby Elias; Ramona Messore; Michael Capponi; Stephanie Sayfie; Yvonne Hila and Bret Beach; Linda Levy Goldberg; and Fabian Basabe.

The evening concluded with an endearing speech by Nicole Ciovacco, mother of 6-year-old Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida Wish kid, Evan Ciovacco. Diagnosed with chronic kidney disease in infancy, Evan’s dream was to go to Orlando Theme Parks as he has spent most of his life visiting doctors to battle his condition. His wish, granted by Greg Salsburg, was to go on a 7-day vacation with his family, where he met all his favorite characters, received fast-passes to all parks and attractions, and had breakfast and dinner with Mickey and friends. With tears in her eyes, Nicole described how Evan’s wish gave the Ciovacco family the will to move forward, become stronger and realize the importance of carving out family time. Nicole concluded her testimony by thanking Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida and the donors for making Evan’s dream a reality and giving him an extraordinary experience when he was facing one of the toughest challenges of his young life.
