Breaking In actor Christian Slater had dinner with power attorney and philanthropist Jim Ferraro at The Forge Restaurant | Wine Bar. Slater’s friend, Burn Notice star Gabrielle Anwar and beau/ Forge owner, Shareef Malnik joined Slater and Ferraro at their table.

Malnik and Anwar were spotted later in the week being very hands on at The Forge’s new Craft Table during the Sunday brunch, where kids have the opportunity to create art projects from organic glue, recycled paper, non-toxic poster paint and fresh flower petals.  Malnik prides himself on opening the Forge’s doors to families and their little ‘foodies-in-training.’  “It’s a great feeling to know that we are offering them a new outlet for exploring food and art,” said Malnik.

Grey’s Anatomy actress Ellen Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery dined at Zuma Miami on Sunday evening for Mother’s Day.

Tennis super star sisters Venus and Serena Williams celebrated Cinco de Mayo at Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar in West Palm Beach. The pair danced to tunes by DJ Adam Lipson while sipping on Rocco’s homemade Margaritas. Meanwhile, NBC-star turned reality-TV star Dennis Rodman entertained onlookers at the Rocco’s Tacos on Las Olas Boulevard. 

Last Saturday, Eva Longoria performed a task at STK Miami alongside team-mate JR Ridinger during the Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup. As her onsite task, Longoria was challenged to test her taste buds and guess the ingredients in the Secret Sauce that makes STK’s Lil’ BRGRs so irresistible. Longoria’s guess came closest to the actual sauce, and she scored the most points for that round.  According to our source, when one of the judges revealed to Longoria that he was impressed with the fact that she had layered the mini burger correctly, the stunning star simply stated “I learned that from working at Wendy’s!” Longoria lost the overall cup this year to Team Market America 2, composed of Amber Ridinger, fiancé Duane McLaughlin and Michael Yo.  That didn’t stop her from co-hosting a winners’ brunch for the team, along with JR and Loren Ridinger, at The Forge Restaurant | Wine Bar the following morning.

IMG_5407 George St -Pierre the Welter Weight Champion of the UFC and Gerald Bunsen of Law and Order dined with a group of 10 in the main dining room of Eden South Beach on Monday night.

A motherly Paulina Rubio was seen kicking back with her newborn and husband on the couch of the Air Europa VIP suite on the second day of this year’s inaugural Beach Soccer Worldwide Miami Cup.  

After a weekend of rallying, Eva Longoria made an appearance at Williams-Sonoma at The Falls on Sunday to sign her new cookbook, Eva’s Kitchen.Paulina_Rubio_Beach_Soccer

David Blaine showed up unexpectedly at Stephen Starr’s Steak 954 on Saturday night. He performed card tricks for his companions and onlookers.

 Actor, James Franco, stopped by the New World Center as part of O, Miami, to read some poetry during the poetry festival this weekend.

ABC’s Private Practice actor Taye Diggs was spotted at Equinox South Beach on Saturday. The actor spent about 2 hours at the gym sporting extremely large headphones.

Cited for doing good are Miami-based non-profit Gene Spotlight, which has just hit the $100,000 fundraising mark in under a year thanks to the support of the NBA, Florida Marlins, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Russell Simmons.

B&B-Lebron_James_and_fanMiami Heat superstar, Lebron James, stopped by Burger & Beer Joint Brickell for lunch Tuesday accompanied by friends. Teammates Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, are also B&B fans.

Producer, Russell Simmons, and Burn Notice actor, Jeffrey Donovan, hung out barefoot on the couches at the AMG Miami Beach Polo World Cup VIP suite. Simmons was reportedly rooting for the Hublot team, while Donovan said he was backing the AMG-Mercedes team, captained by John Walsh.

New York Yankees baseball player Alex Rodriguez was spotted at WALL last Friday, enjoying a guy’s night out with former team mate Jason Ciambi, and three of Ciambi’s team mates.  The group sat at a VIP table and downed three bottles of Grey Goose. Director Michael Bay sat at an adjacent table.

New World Symphony co-founders Michael Tilson Thomas and Lin Arison dined at Quattro on Friday night.

Rakontur’s Billy Corben and Alfred Spellman hosted a private viewing of their new “pot doc” Square Grouper at The Colony Theater. Spotted in the crowd, was Miami Mayoral candidate, Luther Campbell (aka Uncle Luke); UM-turned-NFL star Jeremy Shockey; the Black Tuna Gang’s Robert Platshorn, and the longest incarcerated marijuana prisoner in US history, investigative reporter Mark Potter..

Recent Hall of Famer inductee Dennis Rodman was spotted singing, dancing and feasting on All-U-Can-Eat-Lobster at Kitchen 305s lobster night at the Newport Beachside Resort and Hotel.  Rodman feasted for 2 hours on lobster and was joined by a couple of friends. Rodman got the party started at the restaurant/lounge and reminded everyone that although there may be a new king of the court, he is still indeed king of the dance floor!

enriqueLast Thursday night, Chris Bosh hosted a 26 birthday dinner for fiancée Adrienne Williams at their home for 30 guests.  Invited guests included Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, LeBron James, Roy and Lea Black, and JR and Loren Ridinger to name a few.

Miami native, Pitbull stopped in the middle of his live broadcast with NRJ radio to serenade a crowd that had gathered around National Hotel Miami Beach’s infinity pool with a rendition of “Hey Baby.” The rapper enthusiastically proclaimed, “If it wasn’t for fans like you, I wouldn’t be here!” and then proceeded to walk over to greet and pose for photos with guests one by one.

Enrique Iglesias and girlfriend, Anna Kournikova dined and entertained a large group of friends at SUGARCANE raw bar grill on Saturday night.

Forbes magazine’s “Richest Man in the World”, Carlos Slim, was seen dining with a party of ten at Eden South Beach on Saturday night.  

Rakontur, the Miami-based media studio founded by Billy Corben and Alfred Spellman hosted an after party at Cafeina Wynwood Lounge celebrating the Miami premiere of Square Grouper: the Godfathers of Ganja, the duo’s latest documentary. Corben was on-hand for the festivities.

 Belvedere Vodka played host to one of the hottest (literally and figuratively), most buzzed about experiences during Ultra Music Festival, the Belve Music Lounge at the W South Beach Hotel & Residences. Guests had the opportunity to dance, sample cocktails, take photos at the Belvedere photo booth, take a dip in the private pool, all while listening to  DJ sets including: Blaqstarr, Skrillex, Ruckus, Chuckie, Miss Nine, Dirty Vegas, Roger Sanchez, Moguai, Nervo, Sand er van Doorn, Adrian Lux, Liquid Tod and more.   Other celebrity guests included Tommy Lee, Bob Sinclar, Deadmau5, Carl Cox, Kaskade, Deadmau5, Diplo, and Richie Rich.

Celebrity Apprentice leading contender, Lil’ Jon was sighted at WALL at W South Beach, kicking-off Miami Music Week with a late night DJ set at the exclusive nightclub, which was a celeb Mecca all weekend.  Pro-football stars Miles Austin and Reggie Bush were also spotted at WALL on Friday night. Bush hung out at the same VIP table as Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr. On Saturday night, Naomi Campbell and her fiancé dropped in for Swedish House Mafia’s Masquerade Motel after party, where guests received glow-in-the-dark RumbaTime watches upon entry.   

 Martin Short, Paul Shaffer and Eugene Levy dined together at Zuma in celebration of Short’s birthday which was on March 26. Camilla Belle was spotted at the table next to the trio. Short continued his 60th birthday celebration with Eugene Levy and Paul Shaffer at The Forge Restaurant | Wine Bar over the weekend.  The three amigos were having so much fun enjoying dinner and wine, that Short was surprised when the restaurant brought out a cake for his birthday.  The entire restaurant burst into song and sang “Happy Birthday” to the comedian. 

Zuma was tennis star central last week and weekend.  On Wednesday night, Roger Federer dined with his wife, while at another table federerAna Ivanovic enjoyed the Black Cod (our favourite) with a friend. The handsome #41 ranked Feliciano Lopez from Spain was with a few friends at another table and liked the rock shrimp so much they requested 3 orders of it. On Friday night, #1 ranked tennis player Rafael Nadal dined at Zuma while Naomi Campbell and Donny Deutsch dined nearby (separately).

Eric Morillo celebrated his birthday at LIV in between DJ sets- and was treated to an oversized cake, from which a scantily dressed girl popped out. Diddy, Naomi Campbell, will.i.am and apl.de.ap were on-hand for the celebration.

At Gansevoort rooftop, Armin van Buuren, voted #1 DJ by DJ Mag, celebrated the launch of his new footwear and apparel collection, called Q by Armin. DJ Armin distributed signed shoes to guests at the party.

Federer was seen enjoying the Miami Heat vs. Houston Rockets game at the AAA.

paul-oakenfoldLegendary DJ, Paul Oakenfold took to the turntables at the Tiki Bar at Soho Beach House on Thursday night- spinning some of his best mixes before “folding” at the early hour of 11 p.m., at which time he mingled with members and enjoyed drinks at the bar.  Oakenfold later headed to the Florida Room where he continued delighting fans with his great music.

According to our source, on Thursday, LA Lakers’ Ron Artest “took the sting off his team’s loss to The Miami Heat by letting loose at Mansion, and surprising fans with his prowess on the microphone by performing his new single ‘Peanut Butter’ for the packed house. Lesser known for his rapping skills than his skills on the courts, Artest got accolades from the crowd including Busta Rhymes who toasted Artest with bottles of Remy while partying with Mansion honcho Roman Jones and DJ Bulletproof.”

Busta Rhymes made a cameo at Cameo, on Saturday night, spraying Dom Perignon from the DJ Booth while rapping for over an hour over only to be joined by Hip Hop heavyweight Lil Wayne who joined in -shouting to the ladies that he was “fresh out of jail and on the prowl for female attention,” and belting out hits “Bill Gates” and “Look at Me Now.”  

Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade, Alonzo and Tracy Mourning enjoyed brunch together in the back garden at Eden South Beach on 23rd street.
