Lacoste Returns to 2022 Miami Open!

Lacoste, will be returning to Miami this spring as an official sponsor of this year’s 2022 Miami Open. Over the course of the Open festivities, between March 21st and April 3rd, Lacoste will be unveiling various consumer activations to bring a new sense of excitement to the sport, for both the attending worldwide tennis audience and local Miami community. 

Such activations will include a three-story, entirely customized Lacoste x Hard Rock Retail Tent, providing attendees with an all-immersive Lacoste experience down in Miami. While the first floor will be devoted to a Lacoste boutique, floor two of the tent will include unique consumer moments such as a Lacoste customization station, offering a collection of patches, vinyl graphics that will be available for participants to heat press on to select Lacoste apparel. Participants will be able to choose between the right and left sleeves, back of the shirt below the collar and on the chest on the opposite side of the Lacoste croc.  As customizations are being created, guests will also have the luxury to dine on the third floor lounge. 

During match time, attendees at the open will further be able to go digital with Lacoste participating in the Lacoste “Spot The Croc!” Challenge – incentivising them to take an image of the Lacoste croc logo on-site and text it in for a chance to receive daily Lacoste merchandise prizes! 

Finally, between March 24th and April 1st, Lacoste will be teaming up with Lebron James’ UNKNWN to take over its Miami store location, reconfiguring its usual on-site basketball court into two touch tennis counts for attendees to enjoy. Not only will this activation serve as a space for Open participants to play but it will also house, throughout the tournament, various viewing parties, Lacoste pop-up shop experiences, and more. 

Stars will descend upon Miami during the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF®) this week, from February 24  through February 27th. The Festival will not only feature culinary greats such as Guy FieriRachael Ray and José Andrés but will also see major star power with the likes of Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine and his wife, former Victoria Secret Model, Behati PrinslooEva LongoriaFrench MontanaKate Hudson, and more as they arrive at the magic city to showcase their skills during the nation’s largest wine and food event. The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits”

 Fans of the acclaimed and provocative British artist Banksy can now experience his iconic works up close as The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” exhibition opened in Miami at Ice Palace Studios on January 14, 2022, as part of its North American debut.

The exhibition – custom-built to fit the venue – includes several experiential areas and more than 155 of the artist’s works such as certified originals, prints, photos, lithographs, sculptures, murals, and video mapping installations created only for this tour.

Tickets start at $27.20 and are available through Feverup.com/Miami and ArtOfBanksy.com. The exhibition is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays and Wednesdays through Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.   

Building upon the incredible success of The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits” in Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia, the exhibition celebrated its U.S. premiere in Atlanta in September 2021. Due to popular demand, the show in Atlanta was extended. Miami is the second city on the national tour where the exhibition will be showcased for a limited time, followed by Charlotte, North Carolina, and other cities to be announced later this year. Raise a Glass to Vera Wang’s PARTY and a Toast to Rebecca Moses

On Thursday, 12/2, Vera Wang raised a glass of her new prosecco, Vera Wang PARTY, to her friend and fashion & art icon, Rebecca Moses in celebration of the opening of her new solo Miami exhibition Bubblegum, Lipstick, and Hope. Inside the walls of Ralph Pucci International, attendees including editor in chief of ELLE Decor Asad Syrkett, Donna Karan, Chris Lavish, Katya Tolstova and many more sipped on Vera Wang PARTY throughout the evening while enjoying music by Danilo de la Torre (adoradrag).

As guests entered the exhibit, in front of Moses’ impressive larger-than-life murals, they were greeted by an Italian ice cart for the debut of the new delightfully delicious premium ice cream collaboration between Vera Wang PARTY prosecco and Aubi & Ramsa – The Hibiscus Bellini Sorbet. Available for a limited time only HERE, this prosecco-infused treat boasts notes of hibiscus and rosehips for spoonfuls of well-balanced flavor with just a touch of sweetness. 

Bubblegum, Lipstick, and Hope features 200 female portraits reflecting hope, passion, determination and the desire to stay true to one’s own voice even in the most challenging of times. The exhibit, which will be on display through December 9th, expands Moses’ signature style: connecting art and fashion. It is a world of fashionable delights, colorful dreams, bold  patterns, and stylish environments. Women holding their heads up high, putting on their best to champion themselves with dignity. There is no standard of beauty. Each remarkable woman is her own champion.

After a long 15 months- the wait is finally over. The  Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival Presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF®) returns with new protocols dedicated to delivering a safe and comfortable event experience this Spring, May 20-23, 2021. This year the SOBEWFF will celebrate its 20 year anniversary. Thanks to festival founder, Lee Schrager, and sponsors and organizers, the festival will go on, with copious attention to health and safety measures.

Widely recognized as one of America’s favorite gourmet gatherings on the beach, The Festival will look and feel different this year, but the commitment is unchanged – to EAT. DRINK. EDUCATE. in support of its educational mission to cultivate the future leaders of the hospitality industry at the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University (FIU) and to aid the South Florida hospitality industry during the regrowth phase by giving participating chefs, bartenders and restaurateurs a platform to promote their businesses.

illy Returns to Best of the Best, Teams Up with Local Miami Chefs on Coffee-Inspired Desserts

 illycaffè, a global leader in high-quality, sustainably grown coffee, is returning to the 19th annual Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF®) with its passion for creating unique coffee experiences. From February 19 – 23, 2020, illy will brew classic and specialty coffee drinks for Festival attendees, including espresso, proprietary Cold Brew Aria™, and other crafted beverages made by illy Master Barista Giorgio Milos at more than ten events.

At one of the top Festival events, Fontainebleau Miami Beach presents Wine Spectator’s Best of the Best sponsored by Capital One, illy is collaborating with two local Miami chefs to create one-of-a-kind desserts. Chef Soraya Kilgore, owner of Mad Lab Creamery, is making tiramisu ice cream with illy espresso, while Chef Brielle Fratellone of Fontainebleau is creating a petite gateau made with coffee cream mousse featuring illy’s 100% Arabica Whole Bean Classico, roasted banana cake and caramel toffee.
