HAMILTON Comes to Miami

The much buzzed-about, highly anticipated award-winning musical, HAMILTON will be playing at the Adrienne Arsht Center from February 18-March 15.2020.

HAMILTON is the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary.  Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway, HAMILTON is the story of America then, as told by America now.  

With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex LacamoireHAMILTON is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.

While tickets start at just $79 dollars, several lucky fans will have the opportunity to win $10 tickets.

Forty (40) tickets will be sold for every performance for $10 each. The digital lottery will open at 11 a.m. on February 16 for tickets to the Tuesday, February 18 performance. Subsequent digital lotteries will begin two days prior to each performance until the final Miami performance on March 15.*
Tickets for HAMILTON are currently on sale. Patrons are advised to check arshtcenter.org for late release seats which may become available at short notice.

• The lottery will open at 11 a.m. two days prior to the performance date and will close for entry at 9
a.m. the day prior to the performance.
• Winner and non-winner notifications will be sent between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. the day prior to the
performance via email and SMS (if mobile number is provided).

• No purchase or payment necessary to enter or participate.
• Each winning entrant may purchase up to two (2) tickets.
• Only one entry per person. Repeat entries and disposable email addresses will be discarded.
• Tickets must be purchased online with a credit card by 4 p.m. the day prior to the performance using
the purchase link and code in a customized notification email. Tickets not claimed by 4 p.m. the day
prior to the performance are forfeited.
• Lottery tickets may be picked up at will call beginning 2 hours prior to the performance with a valid
photo ID. Lottery tickets void if resold.
• All times listed are in Eastern Time zone.

In addition, two voter registration events to be held on the Arsht Center’s Thompson Plaza before HAMILTON matinees on Saturday, February 22 and Saturday, March 7. The events are free and open to all.

 

From 11:00am to 1:30pm, representatives from HeadCount and the WeAre Foundation will be available to answer questions about local voter registration requirements and assist those eligible in completing on-the-spot voter registration.  Members of the HAMILTON company along with WeAre co-founder, theatre and television star Brandon Victor Dixon (Aaron Burr in HAMILTON on Broadway, Judas in NBC’s “Jesus Christ Superstar Live,” Terry Silver in POWER on STARZ) will be available to meet and greet the public between 11:00 and 12:30. Visitors can also enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to an upcoming performance of HAMILTON inMiami.
