Einstein Healthcare Network will formally kick-off a year-long celebration of 150 years caring for the healthcare needs of Philadelphia with a star-studded event on Thursday, January 14, at the National Constitution Center. Consummate music artist and one of the most iconic female singers of all time, Diana Ross, will perform. Jason Alexander, of SEINFELD fame, and star of stage and screen will serve as host. The year 2016 marks the 150th anniversary of the founding of Jewish Hospital in Philadelphia, now regional Einstein Healthcare Network. The National YoungArts Backyard Ball
On Saturday, January 9, the National YoungArts Foundation kicks off its landmark 35th anniversary with the Backyard Ball, presented by Max Mara, and the signature after-party featuring music by DJ Cassidy. At 10PM, over 800 of Miami’s social and cultural enthusiasts will gather under the stars on the YoungArts Plaza (2100 Biscayne Boul., Miami) to celebrate the culmination of National YoungArts Week, which welcomes 170 of the country’s most promising young artists and honor director/actress Rosie Perez, director Robert Wilson and Tony-award nominee and YoungArts alumnus Tony Yazbeck. Fashion in Film, based at London’s internationally acclaimed Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, University of the Arts London, has been commissioned to curate a special four-day film festival by Fashion Project, Bal Harbour Shops’ cultural space.
