The Little Lighthouse Foundation (LLF), South Florida’s beloved and renowned non-profit organization, is hosting its 7th annual Children’s Halloween Party on Saturday, October 19th from 11:00AM to 3:00PM, at Miami Design District’s Jungle Plaza. This year, LLF is bringing the magic of Halloween to the children of South Florida’s underserved communities through a day filled with games, activities, costumes, food, and candy.

LLF recently announced an exciting new partnership with Blacklane, the global chauffeur service known for its premium transportation solutions. Together, LLF and Blacklane are joining forces to support underserved youth and families across South Florida. As part of this partnership, Blacklane will serve as the ‘Official Chauffeur-On-Demand Partner’ for all LLF signature events, such as the Hearts & Stars Gala, as well as specialty programs like the Holiday Toy & Meal Distribution. Blacklane’s involvement will not only enhance the guest experience at these events but also contribute directly to LLF’s impactful initiatives.

Additional partners for the upcoming Halloween party include The Motivational Edge, Breakthrough Miami, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami, Miami Children’s Initiative, Silent Victims of Crime, Teen Up-Ward Bound, Kristi House, Benjamin Franklin K-8, Fit Kids of America, Subway, Joe’s Pizza and more. Head to Sexy Fish on Thursday, October 26, for “Scary Fish” a glamorously spooky affair, featuring a haunting theme, beats from guest DJ Natasha Diggs, ocean-inspired cocktails, and more. The best part: this fabulous costume party will benefit the The Little Lighthouse Foundation (LLF)  South Florida’s beloved, non-profit organization.

Well-known for its “Nightmare on the Beach” Halloween parties, LLF promises that Scary Fish will be equally luxurious and fun!

Guests can expect a variety of handcrafted cocktails and passed canapés, while enjoying the immersive decor, complete with a cast of scary sea creatures, while taking in the mesmerizing tunes spun by international sensation DJ Natasha Diggs. The party goes from 9PM to 1AM.

The enchanting night will include complimentary cocktails sponsored by 512 Tequila, Tito’s Vodka, and other liquor sponsors, alongside mouth-watering bites, and a “hypnotizing atmosphere that will transport guests to the deep, dark depths of the seas.” Don’t forget to dress to impress, as glamorous Halloween costumes are requested of all attendees.

Nightmare on the Beach: The Dark CarnEvil

The Little Lighthouse Foundation hosts its eight (8th) Annual Halloween charity event, Nightmare on the Beach: The Dark CarnEvil (“NOTB2017”), on Friday, October 27 at South Beach’s Lummus Park. NOTB2017, South Florida’s premier Halloween charity event, will offer guests a unique outdoor nightclub experience where guests will join the Evil dwellers of the abandoned carnival to share the celebrations while raising money for South Florida children.  This event will also feature multiple themed pavilions and tents, costumed performers, deranged clowns and other amazing activations. All attendees will enjoy a top shelf open bar, including Tito’s Vodka, Camarena Tequila, Notorious Pink, Atlantico Rum, Jagermeister and Coppertail Beer with food tastings from some of Miami’s best restaurants and caterers. Vizcaya Museum and Gardens hosts the 31st Annual Halloween Sundowner, one of Miami’s most iconic events attracting 1,000 guests each Halloween. The allinclusive party takes place on Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 8:00 p.m. to midnight, and benefits the continued preservation of Vizcaya, a National Historic Landmark. This year’s event will feature a theme of Mystery, Myth and Fantasy. Guests are welcome to dress for the theme or wear the costume of their choice and enter to win fabulous prizes in the following categories: Best Male Costume, Female Costume, Best Couple and Best Group Costume. While the biggest frights this Halloween weekend came courtesy of the weather, enthusiastic partygoers braved gale force winds, torrential downpours, lighting and floods to get their spook on.  Some of the best parties included the Heroes and Villains bash at Soho Beach House, the “Oh Jack”Jack the Ripper-themed Halloween party at Highbar at Dream South Beach, the Little Lighthouse Foundation’s “Nightmare Above Lincoln Road” at the garage at 1111 Lincoln Road and Michael Capponi and the Opium Group’s Angels and Demons party in a mansion on Pine Tree Drive.  But, regardless of the party’s theme, Halloween means one thing on South Beach- “Go naked!” (and accessorize)- Making for lots of treats and tricks on this hallowed weekend.  So, in the spirit of all of the ghoulish fun, enjoy the photos of the Cheap Tricks, Eye Treats, and Freaks- who came out at night- in droves.
