People We Love Goes Mad
Cafeina goes “Mad” for Calix Gustav Gallery owner/curator Amanda Fernandez-Leon on Thursday, July 22 at 9 p.m. Fernandez-Leon opted for a Mad Men-inspired theme in honor of her favorite drama, the three-time Golden Globe winning show which premiers its 4th season on AMC the following Sunday. In sync with the stylized and provocative series that follows Madison Avenue marketing executives in a 1960’s Manhattan, guests are encouraged to dress the part, read: plaid jackets, fedoras and skinny ties for the gents; along with cocktail dresses, white gloves, Jackie O. hairdos, and red lipstick for the ladies. The soirée will also feature complimentary period-inspired libations including Vodka Gimlets and the Tom Collins. Don Draper look-alikes encouraged!
