Toast the Summer with Moët & Chandon’s Ice Imperial and Ice Imperial Rosé

Whether heading to the beach or enjoying a backyard barbecue, Moët & Chandon’s Ice Imperialand Ice Imperial Rosé, are the first-ever champagnes designed specifically to be enjoyed over ice. They are the perfect summer sips to cool down with this Memorial Day. Any summer gathering can easily be elevated with champagne cocktails topped with Moët Ice.

Moët & Chandon first pioneered this trend in 2011, launching Moët Ice Imperial (SRP: $59.00) followed by Moët Ice Imperial Rosé which just debuted last summer (SRP: $75.00). Since then, this style of drinking one of the most classic and revered wines has taken off across the category, with brands vying to create their own variations. The growing trend was first noticed amongst vacationers, particularly Margherita Missoni, in the south of France drinking “La Piscine” cocktails – sipping champagne with frozen champagne ice cubes. This “champagne on ice” revelation has since made the category more approachable, instead of reserving bubbly for celebratory moments.

OurBus Launches the Sunshine State Service

OurBus, a tech company that specializes in intercity and crowdsourced bus routes, is introducing service to Florida, with a new route connecting Tampa to Miami, with stops in Sarasota, Fort Myers and Fort Lauderdale.

The new Sunshine State service starts on May 25th, kicking off Memorial Day weekend, with tickets available to purchase at www.ourbus.com.   Service runs from Fridays to Sundays, expanding to seven days per week in July 2018. Promotional fares are available for the first two weeks at just $10 each way.

“Fort Myers and Sarasota are two of the largest cities in the country that don’t have express long-distance bus service,” said Axel Hellman, co-founder, OurBus. “The entire region between Tampa and Naples is growing rapidly, and  this service is greatly needed,” he said. “There are no flights from Fort Myers or Sarasota to Miami, so people here are used to making long drives. Taking the bus is more convenient, and more environmentally friendly.”

OurBus is partnering with My South Bus Tours, a Florida-based bus operator, for service. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with OurBus to enter the intercity bus market,” said Joseph Philoxy, manager at My South Bus Tours.  “After 15 years of serving the travel needs of South Florida residents, we’re proud to be offering express service from the Gulf Coast to South Florida.”

OurBus is starting several other routes that address “transportation deserts” in Florida – locations where there is limited rail, air or bus service –  by the end of 2018.

Boarding locations for OurBus in Florida include downtown Tampa (across from the Amtrak Station), Cattlemen Road in front of Burlington Coat Factory in Sarasota, Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Miami International Airport.

By using disruptive technology and crowdsourcing to bring efficient bus service to leisure travelers, students, and families on a budget,  OurBus is bucking the traditional bus service model, which utilizes a point to point network concept, recognizing that travelers need reliable and efficient transportation that’s close to their home, with less transfers, and less time in the car.

Riders can be as productive or as relaxed as they want to be, with all buses equipped with free wi-fi, individual charging ports,  bottled water and bathrooms.

OurBus has bolstered its East Coast service this year, with the launch of several new bus services, including Philadelphia to Washington, DC, New York City to Philadelphia, and coming Memorial Day weekend, Newark, New Jersey to Washington, DC (Friday, Saturday and Sunday service).  OurBus also services the Philadelphia suburbs, with daily, express bus service to New York City, on its Main Line route, which launched in December 2017.

By downloading the free OurBus app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, OurBus customers have the ability to:

  • Eliminate the guesswork – track OurBus status via mobile phone
  • Eliminate the hassle – no need to wait on long, slow lines at the station to purchase tickets

The company is now offering OurBus Select Membership program, targeting frequent travelers,  students and families on a budget. Members will receive 50% off of 10 tickets, for $49.99.
